Hove Park new build - current project
This garden of a new-build home transforms a challenging, sloping triangular plot into a series of practical, well-balanced spaces for family life. A large, level lawn sits at the heart of the layout, softened by hedging and framed by generous planting, while more secluded areas accommodate a woodland fire pit and a screened hot tub. Terracing, raised beds and carefully considered geometry help anchor the new house within the landscape, creating structure, privacy and flow. Planting will follow a simplified, low-maintenance coastal-inspired aesthetic, with materials chosen to complement the architecture.
Before - looking south, across the lower ground apartment towards the lowest point of the triangular plot
Design concept - a series of levels and steps navigates the drop from the upper terrace, down to the lawn and beyond to the bottom of the garden
Design concept - 'block' hedging takes its proportions from the architecture and is used to create the illusion of a squarer space
